Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
In short
- Chorgi reads your strength workouts from Garmin Connect to review your week and plan the next one. That's the only thing we use your data for.
- Your workouts and training program are sent to Anthropic's Claude only to write your review and plan.
- No analytics, no advertising, no data sales. This website sets no cookies.
- You can disconnect at any time. Access stops immediately and your data is deleted within 30 days.
1. Who we are
Chorgi is an AI training assistant in private beta. It is operated by an individual, not a company:
Milos Mandic, operating Chorgi as an individual
Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Email: chorgibot@gmail.com
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Milos Mandic is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. In this policy, "Chorgi", "we" and "us" refer to the controller.
2. What we collect
When you connect your Garmin account, we collect only what's needed to coach your strength training:
| Data | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Your Garmin account identifier and the OAuth access tokens that let Chorgi read and write on your behalf | Garmin, when you authorise Chorgi |
| Strength activity data: exercises, sets, reps, weights and timestamps of your completed strength workouts | Garmin Connect |
| Your training program and progression rules | You |
| The weekly reviews and training plans Chorgi generates for you, and the workouts it schedules in Garmin Connect | Chorgi |
| Your email address and anything you write to us, if you contact us or ask to join the beta | You |
What we don't collect
- No health data beyond your workout activity. We don't use heart rate, sleep, stress, body composition or similar data.
- No location data. We don't use GPS or location information, even if a workout contains it.
- No Garmin password. You sign in on Garmin's own page, and Chorgi only receives an access token.
- No analytics or tracking data about how you use this website.
When you visit chorgi.me, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details, because that's needed to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. We don't use this data to identify or profile you.
3. What we use it for
We use your data only to:
- analyse the strength workouts you completed each week against your program;
- write your weekly review and generate next week's training plan;
- schedule those sessions in Garmin Connect as structured workouts so they sync to your watch;
- reply to you when you contact us, and run the invite-only beta.
Nothing else. We don't use your data for advertising, we don't build marketing profiles, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
4. Legal basis
- Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): processing your workouts, program and plans is how we provide the service you signed up for.
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): you give consent when you authorise Chorgi through Garmin's OAuth screen. You can withdraw it at any time by disconnecting Chorgi in Garmin Connect or by emailing us. Withdrawing doesn't affect processing that took place before.
- Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): answering your emails, and keeping the website secure and available.
5. Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers ("processors") who handle data on our instructions and under data processing terms:
- Anthropic (Claude API, United States). Your workout data and training program are sent to Claude only to generate your weekly review and next week's plan. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models.
- Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure). Cloudflare hosts this website and the infrastructure Chorgi runs on, including where your data is stored.
- Google (Gmail), which stores the emails you send us.
We exchange data with Garmin because you ask us to: we read your workouts from Garmin Connect and send planned workouts back to it. Garmin's handling of your data is covered by Garmin's own privacy policy.
We use no analytics or advertising services and we never sell your data. We would only disclose data to others if the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Anthropic, Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is certified under it) and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which oblige the recipient to protect the data to EU standards.
7. How long we keep it
- We keep your account and training data for as long as your Garmin account is connected to Chorgi.
- When you disconnect Chorgi in Garmin Connect, our access is revoked immediately and we can no longer read or write your data.
- We delete your data within 30 days of you disconnecting your Garmin account or asking us to delete it.
- Emails are kept for as long as needed to answer you and run the beta, and are deleted on request.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- rectification of data that's inaccurate or incomplete;
- erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten");
- restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
- data portability: receiving your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
To use any of these rights, email chorgibot@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm you own the Garmin account concerned. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in the EU country where you live. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
9. Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies, local storage or any similar tracking technology, and it loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
10. Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, both between your browser and this site, and between Chorgi and Garmin, Anthropic and Cloudflare.
- Access follows the principle of least privilege: the service only has the permissions it needs, and administrative access is limited to the founder.
- OAuth tokens are used only to read your strength workouts and schedule your planned workouts.
If a personal data breach affects you, we'll notify you and the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens as the GDPR requires.
11. AI-generated plans
Your weekly reviews and plans are generated automatically with the help of AI. They are training suggestions only, not medical advice, and they don't produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. You stay in control of what you train. If you have an injury or a health condition, check with a qualified professional.
12. Children
Chorgi isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Chorgi develops. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and if a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll tell beta users by email before it takes effect.
14. Relationship with Garmin
Chorgi is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Garmin. Garmin and Garmin Connect are trademarks of Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries.
